About EDS:

SPCS EDS aims to motivate Paulinians to improve their speech, writing and critical thinking skills by participating in debates on numerous topical issues. As members, we are passionate debaters and active participants in various debating competitions. We want to pass on the thrill and challenge of debating in English to all Paulinians.

English Debate Team:

The English Debating Team is a rigorous academic team that demands mastery of the English language, as well as advanced skills in critical thinking, persuasion, and research.

Both the junior and senior teams have proudly represented SPCS in a range of territory-wide competitions, including the Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition, the Sing Tao Inter-School Debating Competition, and the Bar Association Debating Competition, with many more to come.
